Matt and I are heading down to Providence to canvas for Obama on Saturday if anyone wants to join us.
Generally, I’m sort of against getting in unsuspecting people’s faces with my opinions, but I do think this is an awfully important election, and as I may have mentioned, I’m rather convinced that my guy can do some good. Rhode Island may not be the largest of states, but it’ll feel good to get some hands-on participation in the campaign. The polls in RI close before those in Texas and Ohio, so there’s some hope that an impact on RI can be magnified into impacts on the larger states.
